4 'Dibs' stars!

Manwhore +1 is the highly anticipated sequel to Manwhore. After the cliffhanger in book one, I was excited to get my hands on this one. I enjoyed this story and I’m looking forward to the next book (Ms. Manwhore) but I will say I was happy where this book ended. There was no cliffhanger like the first! Rachel Livingston has it bad for Malcolm Saint. After spending her time getting to know him for her article/exposé she was writing, she did the unthinkable. She fell for him. The problem is this couple hasn’t spoken. Saint felt betrayed by Rachel I’m sure, and even with her article where she laid herself bare, she hasn’t heard from him. It’s hurting her heart, but she understands. Then, she gets drawn back in. Back into Malcolm Saint’s vortex. All those feelings of love, attraction, want and need come back at full force.
“Do you think of me sometimes when you don’t want to…. do you need me… do you still feel me?
“I feel you everywhere.”
I enjoyed this one. I like both Saint and Rachel’s characters. Rachel is strong and independent, and Malcolm Saint is just a force to be reckoned with. I was happy to get more of them both. I did like that Rachel fought for Malcolm but also stood up to him when it came to her work. I love a strong heroine and a swoony hero! For some reason, I liked the first book in this series a bit more. It had more of a build up, a little more angst and such. This one was sweet, romantic and steamy. Which is never a bad combination, I just wanted a little more. I love Katy Evan’s writing. Her stories are consistently good and I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.
