You will laugh, dance to Nsync and the BSB in your panties, swoon over sexy Italian phrases and will probably want to take up knitting after you are done reading this book. FWB: An Unrequited Romance is book number two of the Knitting in the City series. In this one we learn about Elizabeth Finney ; she is a twenty six year old Medical Doctor, funny, sarcastic and believes a person is suppose to fall in love only once in their whole life. Her first love was Garret, he died of cancer when he was sixteen leaving her hopeless and further contributing to her already strong abandonment issues. Eleven years later fate will bring them back together and sparks instantly ignite...Nico is determine to get the "one that got away", and Elizabeth is having a hard time resisting the hotness of Nico "The Face" Moretti (he is now a famous Hollywood actor/comedian) and his larger than life charming attitude. Her friends will help her sort through all the crazy/ sexy and cool events that will make her re-evaluate her entire believe system; will she have the courage to give love another try? "It doesn't matter how much you avoid it, love finds you. Love will hunt you down, throw you over it's shoulder, pull you kicking and screaming caveman style by the hair, and bludgeon you with its love club until you submit. It's the most relentless force in the Universe. There is no where you can run-" This books have the ability to make anyone who reads them giddy and feel hopeful about all things love. The writing is smart and witty and every single character in the story is refreshing and incredibly unique. I found myself reading each word slowly and carefully and afraid to blink because I didn't want to miss a thing, I just wanted the happy and warm feelings this book provided me with to last forever.
