4.25 STARS ... BADABING – BADABOOM – you got them in the sack!!
I have a confession to make… I’ve read every book in this series, but for some ungodly reason, I never reviewed any of the books till now… Why… I don’t know… but it looks like I’m going to have to go back and reread them all… not a bad thing either… this series is one of my favorites and I’ve recommended it… I don’t know how many times!!! A gazillion maybe!!! Anywho… I’ve been waiting for a book on Quinn… he always intrigued me to say the least!!! I was glad to see that the girl that was chosen for him was a girl that had already been in his life and was (for all intensive purposes), the one that got away!!! Rose is my hero… beautiful, strong, sexy, and smart!! I do like damsels in distress, but give me a strong woman anytime…and strong she is!! I know she’s coming to Quinn for help… but doesn’t that still make her a strong woman that she knows when to ask for help?? The plot and pace were good… kept me glued to the Kindle for a day… I was an emotional wreck though… ups and downs in every chapter… holy cowz!!! It’s was 253 pages of an emotional roller coaster… thank you Tina Folsom for making me act like I was PMSing that day!!! My poor husband!! I’m so glad that this family of vampires is so close… it’s good to see and hear them in the newer books… makes you feel like you’re a part of their continued story… I sure do miss Samson, Gabriel, Amaurie, Zane, and the rest of the bunch!!! Not sure if this is the last installment of the Scansguard Vamps, but I’ll be crossing my fingers for more to come…
