4 "Mr. Tall, Blond and Bitey" Fun Stars!
Another light-hearted, happy Half Moon Hallow book with a snarky heroine along with her lovable & fun undead family. Between the over-protective nature of Gigi's sister Iris and her semi-nerotic brother-in-law Cal....I have to say I absolutely love and adore Gigi's vampire brother-in-law Cal, along with the rest of her undead family (love Dick Channey too!!) , they had me constantly grinning or even laughing out loud at times. I loved Gigi, you can't help but love her snarky self and I found myself waiting to see what she'll do next....she just seemed to always get into some kind trouble.
Nik is great, he's kinda quirky, definitely sexy, and very protective. He knows what he wants, isn't afraid to go after it, and he likes to keeps Gigi on her toes. Nik is an old (very, very old) friend of Cal's who at Cal's request has been keeping an eye on Gigi, however; there is something very wrong happening with him that is a danger to Gigi, but Gigi is determined to find out what the heck is going on, because if she can't figure it out, they will have no future and she has fallen hard for the vamp, much to the dismay of Iris & Cal. Lastly there is one character that will finally, finally have to answer for past and present bad behavior and yet I found myself kinda feeling sorry and hoping for leniency. All in all another Fun “Half Moon Hallow” story, looking forward to more of these fun and lovable vamps.
