What a Wonderful Book! Colleen Hoover is one of my all time favorites

Confession #1: I really didn’t know what to expect when I was reading this book. I didn’t bother to read the blurb since all I knew this was a Colleen Hoover book and it must be read. Colleen Hoover is just an instant one-click for me… there is no ifs, ands, or buts. Confession #2: I really don’t think this would be a considered a confession but I absolutely LOVED CONFESS. Owen Mason Gentry stole my heart <3 Confession #3: I was bawling when I read the prologue and epilogue. That scene in the prologue brought back lots of memories for me that I could relate to.

Without a doubt, Colleen Hoover is one of my top favorite authors. She is and has always been one of those authors that brings out all the FEELS for me. She allows her readers to be emotionally connected with her characters in which gives us a greater understanding of the whole story. What I absolutely love about reading a CoHo Book is that when I’m done with it, the first word that always comes out of my mouth is “WOW.” And in her newest release, CONFESS I can happily utter and say that this book was absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful. Yes, this book stole my heart right off the opening pages and I could not put this book down. Colleen Hoover is truly a gifted writer and storyteller. The way she depicts loss, happiness, love, grief, sadness, jealousy, and anger with her characters are captured in CONFESS. This book is not your typical romance book because Owen and Auburn’s story consumes you. You will feel every emotion and heartache as you read this book. CONFESS is a book to be EXPERIENCED since it will leave you raw and vulnerable. And that feeling is something I want to thank Colleen for because I love how honest and raw this book is. Secrets...well let’s face it, we all have them. Some can be told and some are so hard to tell because we are afraid to hear the truth. Though they say the truth will set you free but lets face it, sometimes having our secrets exposed is daunting and scary. To confess and have your fears, secrets, thoughts, and personal scars for everyone to hear and judge is one scary thought. So I want to personally say thank you and commend to all those people who submitted their own personal confessions. Some were shocking, surprising, heartbreaking, and deeply private.

CONFESS is one of those rare books that will honestly steal your HEART. This book was emotional, breathtaking, touching, beautiful, honest, and raw. The writing is superb and flawless. The storyline is so original and genius. The characters are not perfect and flawed and thats what makes them feel so REAL. CONFESS will consume and captivate you. Tears will be shed. Hearts will be stolen, And peace will be found. They say confession is good for the soul. Well, here is one confession that I will happily tell the world: GO READ CONFESS!! This book will break your heart but slowly piece it back together.
