4 Ghostly Good Stars! Molly Harper is one of my go to authors. I've read everything she's written, and her paranormal romances are my personal favorites. Her endearing quirky characters, witty laugh-out-loud dialogue, and exceptional story telling make her books a joy to read. Better Homes and Hauntings fell right into that mold and proved once again why I love her books so much! There was not one, but two romances in play and fun friendships that formed. I only wish that there were more ghostly encounters throughout the read, although when the spirits made their appearances, it ramped up the creep element, something I rather enjoyed. While I liked all the main characters, Deacon, Nina, Jake and Cindy, it was when Dotty, Deacon's cousin, shows up unexpectedly on the island that things got really amusing and entertaining. She had nothing but good intentions, wanted to prove that her great-great grandparents loved each other, and that the murder accusations were false. I know this is a stand-alone, but I think Dotty has a future as a ghost hunter and needs a book of her own, so please Molly Harper write her a story and give her a guy, she so deserves one! A light easy read! First-rate fun, sexy good times, charming characters, and an engaging story make Better Homes and Hauntings another winner in the Molly Harper collection!
